Day1: 2nd March, 2014
We
at Jaipuria Jaipur began our entrepreneurship week journey with outreach
programs. The students were quite enthused about the theme of E-week
“Innovating for India”. They all unanimously felt that understanding problems
at grass root level is fundamentally important to innovate. The young brigade
of 43 students and Dr. S.K. Pandey along with CSR team member Mr. Prakash
Sharma explored the day long visit to the field.
Event 6
Interaction with Micro Vendor Nizam (Sivdaspura , Tonk Road)
Time: 03.00 PM – 03.35 PM
The
micro vendor Nizam, we students tea interacted with is in the business of truck
decoration materials (named Udancchu Truck decor). He travels on bike and
visits different dhabas and stay there for some time to sell his products. His
daily income is approx. Rs. 1000 to 1500 per day. He seems to be very happy man
& said "I enjoy my work because I'm different & do the work differently”
The
student’s team was quite excited to see his zeal and enthusiasm to see
business. He shared, how keep on doing innovation in selling and how every one
week he change his décor products in designs, color and add new varieties to
keep his customers happy.
