Theme: Innovating for India

Day1: 2^nd March, 2014

We at Jaipuria Jaipur began our entrepreneurship week journey with outreach programs. The students were quite enthused about the theme of E-week “Innovating for India”. They all unanimously felt that understanding problems at grass root level is fundamentally important to innovate. The young brigade of 43 students and Dr. S.K. Pandey along with CSR team member Mr. Prakash Sharma explored the day long visit to the field.

Event 4: Visit to Rajkiya Uchya Maadhyamik Vidyaalay (Bada Padampura)

Time: 12.45 AM – 01.50 PM

This was a school of under-privileged kids. The student’s team spent some time and had food with them. The kids were really bright and charming. When we looked at them we realized what life meant to them. They were deprived of some of basic necessities of life though the school was closed, but most of the children were there, because the free food is supplied to them in the school. The school also had an automatic solar system based drinking water set-up in their campus. It is taken care by the "Panchayat Samiti Chaakas" of that area. 30 students & 3 teachers were present in the school. On the same time Oriental Bank of Commerce has distributed bags & water bottle to the students of school. Our student’s team helped the kids in cleaning the schools & seating arrangements.

Many students volunteered and brought biscuits chocolate and food items and shared the same with these kids. The student’s team became emotional, and requested to CSR wing to start a project Parivartan for them as well, and they will volunteer for the cause.
